London: Through the Night Photography Workshop
There are a number of photography courses around that simply do some late night photography in London, so why is this different. Simply because it is not late night it is all night. Adrian has always been a night hawk, one who loves the vibrancy of colour the city brings at night, but the different characters, the busyness but then the quiet and the city settles down to sleep. It is a whole new city and world of possibilities when for most the lights go off. On this course, run on a Saturday night, to make use of London’s night tube, we will have the opportunity to do street photography around Soho, China Town and the West End, take in some of London’s iconic buildings and bridges, the Thames as well as heading to Canary Wharf. It is a night like no other giving those with a passion for a variety of photographic genre to get some awesome shots. Oh, yes it works for those using camera phones as well. On this course we will have the opportunity to: Gain confidence and experience photographing after dark. Explore the possibilities for Street Photography is vibrant quieter locations. Take architecture shots simply in ways the daylight hours do not provide. Explore the use of shutter speeds and zoom effects to gain eye catching images. We will have the time to play with apertures and shutter speeds as well as white balance. Recognise the ability these days to use high ISO. Practice those eye catching panning and light trail images. All this with a passionate and experienced night photographer and of course, in the safety of a group at all times meaning this is suitable for all.
